At the moment, as I think befits a young man, I find myself in the first of those spheres. I feel no real ties of duty to anything or anyone and therefore live a life of self-gratification. Johannes the seducer, one of the characters in Kierkegaard's "Either/Or," particularly embodies this school of thought. "His whole life was intended for enjoyment." I just really like the way this guy thinks. Read the essay if you're curious.
